Water activities
The construction of the marsh of Rialb contributed in great extend to improve the rural lodging, communications, insfrastructures, to provide water and lighting, and others… as a way to develop the municipality of Baronia de Rialb. We have to highlight that along the river there are two piscifactories and that the landscape has a natural charm.  The river Rialb is a suitable place to fish trouts. Planted trout in the lower part of the river and native trout at the high part, that we consider of great importance because is protected and this helps to the preserve the native trout.
The stretch until the canal de Urgell is the most apreciated for the lovers of fishing; the quality of the water offers always a steady flow.

There are many leisure activities that can be done in the municipality: from fishing and hunting, to incredible excursions to know the region, that can be on foot, on bike or using the roads to do rallies of antique cars, almost a tradition in the region.
There is a big net of alternative routes to get to places of great beauty. All of this, within the silence and tranquility of the forest, in the middle of the nature, a place where there are few traces of human presence.
Furthermore, the Rialb River ends at a dam, recently constructed, which provides an ideal zone for the practice of aquatic sports such as canoe sailing and fishing.
