- Romanesque route - Monastery of Gualter
The romanesque art is considered the most genuine in Catalonia; the regions of Lleida preserve one of the most important historical and artistic conjuntos of Europe, due to its diversity and for its singularity and beauty.
In la Baronia de Rialb, the abundante of romanesque churches - twenty four in the area- makes this place an ideal paradise to know and to visit those monuments from the XI and XII century.
It stands out the romanesque church of Santa Maria de Palau or the Monastery of Gualter . The old Benedictine monastery of Santa Maria de Gualter was destroyed during the civil war, but it still preserves the walls on the perimeter, a part of the three apses and also the Romanesque cloister. - Museum of the motorbike in Bassella
Near the house we find the Museum of the Motorbike. It has more than a thousand square meters, devoted to the world of the two wheels. This is the ideal proposal for the fans of motorcycling.
The aim of this museum is to promote the interest on the World of the motorcycle, to discover the origins of this sport through the exhibitions. Sometimes there are temporal exhibitions and also the museum organizes various events.

There are many leisure activities that can be done in the municipality: from fishing and hunting, to incredible excursions to know the region, that can be on foot, on bike or using the roads to do rallies of antique cars, almost a tradition in the region.
There is a big net of alternative routes to get to places of great beauty. All of this, within the silence and tranquility of the forest, in the middle of the nature, a place where there are few traces of human presence.
Furthermore, the Rialb River ends at a dam, recently constructed, which provides an ideal zone for the practice of aquatic sports such as canoe sailing and fishing.
