Alberg de la Torra is in the municipality of de la Torra (near the Farmhouse- Masia of Pomanyons), in the Baronia de Rialb, in the region of La Noguera.
We can accesss the Alberg de la Torra through the secondary road, that goes next to the marsh of Rialb, in the middle of a territory with rough relieves, with abundant streams and great forests and meadows. It is connected with Ponts through the road C-1412 and with Peramola through the new road Politg-Peramola.
The village of de la Torra is located in the valley that forms the river Rialb, from its begining, near the area of Gabarra and Faidella, until the river's Segre outlet.
This valley, with a small area to grow cereals, has many pine trees and evergreen oak,. That makes the area into a place of great beauty, a place where there are few traces of human presence.
